Power Antennas and replacement Masts OEM POWER
ANTENNAS &
REPLACEMENT MASTS
fits your cars factory power antenna.
We have parts listed below to fix
your factory antenna mast, it is usually easy to replace the mast.
First remove the retaining nut on top of the power antenna where it
mounts to the fender. With the retaining nut off the old antenna
mast and its sleeve and nylon gear should come right out through the
top, you may need to have someone inside the car turn the radio ON
so the antenna goes up, as it goes up you can pull on the mast and
it should come out. After the old mast and sleeve is out, the
new antenna mast is easy to install, simply feed the nylon gear
(long white curly thing) down into the hole while someone inside the
car turns the factory radio on and off, the nylon gear should catch
as the motor is trying to go down and start pulling the mast down
into the hole, feed it in gently, it may not go down all the way the
first time, this is normal, once the metal part is in the hole put
the retaining nut back on , now run the antenna up and down a few
times and it should self adjust and go all the way up and all the
way down, tighten the nut and your done.... NOTE, the
retaining nuts are usually designed for a special tool, but most of
them can be worked with an adjustable wrench or a pair of needle
nose pliers. Good luck
By the way - We do have alot of
antenna parts, but unfortunately we don't have parts for every car
antenna ever made.
if its not listed here then we don't have it. you
can usually check with the car dealers parts dept for those hard to
find parts. |
