NAVRGB is a navigation video interface device that adds video capabilities to vehicles with factory installed navigation systems, or full color information screens. NAVRGB does not replace or add a factory navigation system, it only creates additional video inputs for the navigation system or color screen. NAVRGB video interface is 100% PLUG & PLAY - no wire cutting required. NavTool PLUG & PLAY installation harnesses are made using OEM connectors. NAVRGB video interfaces come with two composite video inputs: video 1 is dedicated for any video source, video 2 is dedicated for back-up camera. When the vehicle is in reverse, the screen will automatically switch to reverse camera (back-up camera overrides both DVD and navigation screen). NAVRGB is an externally wired Plug & Play video interface that is installed in-line of the navigation computer and navigation screen. NOTE: This vehicle is equipped with the EWS II immobilizer system that need to be bypassed when adding a remote start. Use DEI module 555B and refer to DirectFax document #1056 for
additional wiring information.
*1 The general module is a white box located behind the glove box. The 54 pin plug is the center plug, and the 26 pin plug is the one on the left.
*2 The diagnostic plug is on the passengers side of the engine compartment.
*3 On some models, unlock may require a double pulse.
*4 Need to remove the light switch module from the dash and pop off the front cover. A ribbon cable which connects the switch to the module will be exposed. With the switch facing towards
you, you need to interrupt the fourth wire from the left with a relay. When interrupted the parking lights will come on. See DirectFax document # 1055 for wiring information.
*5 The horn relay is above the general module. It is the green relay to the right of an orange relay.
*6 Extended triggers on the door lock wires will roll the windows up/down and open/close the sunroof. Use validity channels to control.
