It is easy to interface the Pac aux pod adapter into your factory stereo.
This pictorial is how to do it to a 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe with the 9 pin connector
in the back of the factory radio.

 
The AUX-POD is really great for those of us that want to play out ipod through our factory car stereos. 

you will need:

1) AUX-POD

2) special AUX-POD cable for your type of car

3) your ipod
 

 
In this case we are putting this in a 2002 Chevy Tahoe (GM trucks, suburbans and many others are the same as this one)  we used the AUXPOD, the cable  AB-GM9 and we removed the factory radio from the 2002 Tahoe..
On the back of the Tahoe radio we see the 9 pin connector where the slave cassette player was plugged in.
The AB-GM9 cable we bought plugs right in simple as can be, and the other end still lets us use the slave cassette player
Now plug in the AUX BOX

Now the included IPOD cable plugs into the IPOD and even charges the ipod while you drive
this is a closeup of the slave cable so you can keep the cassette if you want...
