Video/camera input for 2004 and up BMW vehicles with original iDrive (CCC) controls and LVDS.
The BMW56CAN allows 3 auxillary video inputs, 1 backup camera input and 1 RGB input for BMW vehicles with the CCC iDrive. The rear camera is triggered automatically when vehicle is put into Reverse. The first video inputs can be used with any video source including a DVD, Flir camera or video IPOD etc. The module is compatible with BMW 3 Series, 5 Series, 6 Series and X Series. The video input is activated via a pushbutton, or when the optional CAN connection is used, the video can be activated by using the iDrive\'s Menu button.
