iPod®/iPhone® interface for factory Ford, Lincoln, and Mercury radios. Full iPod®/iPhone® browsing supported from the factory radio: Playlist, Artist, Genre, Album, and Composer. Upgradable with uPAC-HDRT - adds HD Radio™ to the vehicle. Product Features Plug-and-play installation maintains factory wiring integrity Full iPod® browsing from the radio and steering wheel controls Secondary input for an additional auxiliary audio source Retains factory-installed satellite radio HD Radio™ ready - upgradable with uPAC-HDRT Vehicle MUST be either equipped with, or have the ability to support Satellite Radio or the Microsoft SYNC system If you are using this product in conjunction with an iPhone or iTouch running the 3.0 Operating System it must be revision 1.3.687b. If your uPAC is not labeled with this revision number you MUST update the firmware. Please click here to update your module. HD Radio support requires the purchase of the HDRT (sold separately) Satellite Radio support requires the purchase of the uPAC-SIRCBL & an SCC1 tuner (both sold separately) Radios that are equipped with an internal satellite tuner DO NOT support an auxiliary input or satellite radio through the uPAC-FRD24. The factory auxiliary input & satellite radio will be retained but you CAN NOT add these features with the uPAC-FRD24. In 2009 Ford changed the radios in the following vehicles halfway through the year from having an external satellite radio tuner to having an internal satellite radio tuner. These vehicles will not be able to support an Auxiliary input or Satellite radio through the uPAC-FRD24: Ford Focus Ford Escape Mercury Mariner Non-navigation radios must have an AUX, Sirius or SAT button to be compatible The following vehicles also require the uPAC-FRDLCD harness: 2008-2010 Ford Escape Non-Navigation 2009 Ford Flex Non-Navigation 2009-2010 Ford F-150 Non-Navigation 2008-2010 Ford Focus 2010 Ford Fusion Non-Navigation 2010 Ford Mustang Non-Navigation 2008-2010 Mercury Mariner Non-Navigation 2010 Mercury Milan 2009 Lincoln MKS Non-Navigation 2010 Lincoln MKZ Non-Navigation
